EXTRA INFO
Chinese ritual censer from the Qing period, dating from the 18th century, probably from the time of Emperor Qianlong, who ruled China between 1736 and 1795. It represents a Foo, whose figure resembles that of a winged lion. It is a mythological animal considered a powerful protector by Feng Shui practitioners, a hybrid between a marine animal and a land animal, and also related to wealth due to its voracious appetite for gold and silver.
